**__ Diplomatt’s Daily Digest – June 10, 2022__**
Good morning and happy Friday, everyone! After a tumultous week in the market, today is very welcoming for many investors. Stock futures teeter in the red Friday morning ahead of a highly anticipated inflation report. Economists expect inflation in May continued to burn white hot, with energy, food, rent and health-care costs all rising. If the report matches expectations, or shows slower gains, then Wall Street could take it as a sign that inflation may have peaked and that the Federal Reserve may need to be less aggressive later in the year. Let’s hope inflation is hitting its peak because I don’t know about you all, but I am getting tired of spending $100+ at the pump when I fill up my car. With that said, have a great Friday and weekend. Diplomatt will return on Monday.
