• The Biden administration has released its budget for 2023. Totaling $5.8 trillion with a $1.15 trillion deficit, it features some clues about the administration’s long-term plans for crypto.
• Congressman Stephen Lynch (D-MA) will introduce his Electronic Currency and Secure Hardware, or ECASH, Act. The bill directs the US Treasury to pilot software, hardware, and network tech to run a peer-to-peer retail dollar that aims to resemble cash as much as possible.
