• Bitcoin miner Riot Blockchain filed a prospectus with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the sale of up to $500 million in shares from time to time, otherwise known as an “at-the-market” offering.
• After launching futures contracts tied to bitcoin and ether in recent years, CME Group is considering whether it can introduce futures based on cryptocurrencies with smaller market caps, including Solana’s SOL and Cardano’s ADA.
• Recently compromised crypto bridge project Wormhole is planning a private token sale to raise close to $200 million.
• The NFT marketplace OpenSea has rolled out direct card payments on its platform through MoonPay, simplifying acquiring an NFT for those who don’t own crypto.
• The Indonesian government has decided to tax capital gains income from crypto investments at 0.1% starting in May. In addition, value-added tax of the same rate will be levied on crypto purchases.
• It’s now possible to travel between metaverses thanks to Ertha’s Portal NFTs. Despite their purpose being a mystery, the game’s passionate community has already spent over $60,000 on these NFTs.

Still, it could also be used “as a direct surveillance tool into the private transactions of Americans.”
